1. Lord, our dwelling for generations,
From before the mountains were born
And before the earth was created–
thou the everlasting Lord.
For a thousand years is like a day gone past
as you turn us back to dust.
2. Lord, we are consumed by your anger.
By your wrath we are overcome.
You have laid our sins out before us
in the light of your countenance.
Our days pass away in trouble and in toil.
Grant us wisdom in our souls.
3. Turn. O Lord! How long will you anger?
Have compassion on us, Lord.
Satisfy us in the morning
lith a portion of your love.
Let the favor of the Lord be upon us.
Make us glad for evil passed.
