1. O Lord, remember when once you showed favor,
Restored the fortunes of your people Jacob,
Pardoned transgression when they had gone wayward,
turned from your anger.
2. Restore us again, God of our salvation,
and put away your fiery indignation.
Will you stay angry for all generations?
Grant us salvation.
3. I long to hear what the Lord my God will speak,
for to God’s people the Lord promises peace,
that in the land may dwell our savior’s glory,
where love and faith meet.
