1. Thou God, who art our shepherd,
who searches out thy flock
wherever we be scattered—
rescue us from the dark.
2. Thou bring us to good pasture
on verdant mountain height,
lead us to watercourses,
and make us down to lie.
3. Thou seek the lost and cast out.
Lord, bring back those who stray.
Bind up now thou the injured—
the week and the afraid.
4. The sheep shall sit on thy right,
the goats upon the left.
For how we love thy children
is how we love thyself.
